Do you charge for a quote?
No. Estimates and measuring are free and there is no obligation. Peter comes out, measures properly, talks you through the options and gives you a price.
Can I see samples before I choose?
Yes. Samples can be brought to your home, which is the best way to choose because flooring looks different under your own lighting. You can also visit the showroom in Braintree; give Peter a call first, as he is often out fitting.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Braintree and cover Essex and London, including Witham, Chelmsford, Colchester, Halstead, Great Dunmow, Waltham Abbey, Brentwood and Woodford. If you are just outside those, ask anyway.
Do you take away the old flooring and move furniture?
Yes. We can lift and dispose of old carpet, underlay, grippers and bars, and move the furniture as we go. Mention it when you book so it is included in the quote.
Can I buy flooring without fitting?
Yes. Carpet, vinyl, laminate and underlay can all be bought supply only, and fitting can be added later if you change your mind.
Do you sell roll ends and remnants?
Regularly. We buy in roll ends, off-cuts and B-grade rolls from quality ranges and sell them well below retail, cut to size. The latest stock goes up on our Facebook page.
Do you do commercial and insurance work?
Yes. Commercial work has included nurseries, schools, communal stairways and independent living schemes, often over a weekend. We also quote and carry out insurance flooring work.
How much experience do you have?
Peter has over 30 years of experience in carpets and flooring, and the business has been going for well over a decade.
